Our Beliefs
Dunes Baptist Church is an Independent, Fundamental, Bible-believing, Baptist Church. We believe:
That the King James Bible is the inspired and preserved Word of God for Engllish-speaking people. We hold the Bible as the sole authority for what we do as a Church.
That Christ was born of the virgin Mary, lived a perfect and sinless life, died as the sacrifice for the sins of the world, and rose again from the dead as the answer to the problem of sin in the world.
That Christ's imminent return will come as "a thief in the night" to take away those that are saved.
That a real Heaven awaits for all those that are saved, and a real Lake of Fire awaits for those who die without knowing Christ.
Our Mission
The mission of Dunes Baptist Church is threefold:
Following the Lord.
First, the mission of DBC is to follow the Lord in everything we do. Christ is the head of the church and it is our desire to follow Him and help all who attend and visit follow His as well.
Fulfilling the Great Commission.
Second, the mission of DBC is to fulfill the Great Commision - Christ's last command to His followers. It is the duty of the Church to reach the lost, show them the Saviour, and disciple them to follow Christ.
Fellowshipping as a Family.
Third, the mission of DBC is to provide a place for the members and visitors to fellowship together as a family. We strive to create a loving atmosphere where we can fellowship and grow together in Christ.
