At DBC, we have ministries for all ages. From the youngest children to the senior saints, we want everyone to have a place to fit in, get involved, and be connected so they can grow in Christ.
Our age-specific Sunday School classes are a great way for kids to learn about Christ, hear the Gospel, and see the love of Christ at work through the Sunday School teacher.
Mark10.14 is the Wednesday night program for the children of DBC. It was developed by the church and is a great time for crafts, games, snacks, but mostly learning about God.
Junior Church takes place every Sunday morning during the Morning Worship Service. It is a great time for children to sing, learn a Bible lesson, and start learning how to behave during a "normal" church service.
...and so much more
The Dunes Teens Youth Group is the program that covers the teen Sunday School, the Wednesday night programs, and all things teen at DBC. Just like everyone else, the teens have an age-specifi Sunday School class on Sunday morning with an important teen-related lesson. As the Lord allows, we would like to continue these programs to Wednesday night for a more dedicated teen-focus Bible study.
One of the fun things that we get to do wiht our teens is have Youth Activities. These rage from game nights at the church, to corn mazes and "field trip" type activities. This is a great time for the teens to get to be part of a fun-filled time while still keeping Christ as the center.
We believe it is important to get people involved in service at a young age. That is why we give the teenagers opportunities to serve in different areas of the ministry. These can be serving a meal at the church, to helping with a special project, to singing with a group during one of the services.

Just as everyone else has a Sunday School class, the adults are no different. Every Sunday morning there is an adult Sunday School class that is designed to help understand the Christian life, a Bible truth, or a certain portion of Scripture. As the Lord allows, we would like to expand to more classes for more specific groups of adults.
There are many areas for adults to get involved and serve. The Children and Teen ministries, singing a special in church, or helping as a greeter in the hospitality ministry are all ways you can get involved in service.
As times change, there is a constant need for the Church to continue to grow in use of technology to reach more people withe Gospel and the love of Christ. We have expanded our Media Ministry and we can always use those who would like to get involved in this are.
Of all the ministries of the Church, this is the most important. Christ's last command to His followers was "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15), and "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" (Matthew 28:19)." We at DBC do not take this command lightly. Although we are using technology and media to reach the lost, it is still our duty to Go, Preach, Baptize, and Teach the world.
We have a church-wide soul winning time every Saturday at 10:00 am. While we encourage everyone to participate in this organized time, we also encourage the members of DBC to be a witness every day, to live a life that matches the testimony they have, and to use other days throughout the week to talk to people about Christ.
Another part of our Outreach Ministry is the Bus Ministry. We use the bus to pick up children as well as adults that are not able to come to church otherwise. This is a wonderful way to reach people, and also a great ministry in which to be involved.
